Designed to challenge students and developing them as global citizens, whilst allowing them to interact with peers from around the globe, the World Scholar’s Cup is an international enrichment program. The students from Presidium Gurugram formed 6 teams and participated in this grand program, organised at Sun City International School, Gurugram. To be competitive at the World Scholar’s Cup, an enormous amount of planning and commitment is required and these students had prepared for the lead-up events for more than a week. This preparation includes mastering a wide range of topics across six key subjects including Science & Technology, History, Literature, Art, Music and Social Studies.
The students competed in four events over the course of two long days. Their topics were related to the key subjects all centred around the theme of ‘An Entangled World’. All participants performed extremely well and their hard work, passion and commitment were very evident. Our students brought many laurels to the school along with their rich experience. They have qualified for the international round to be held in Kuala Lampur, Barcelona and Melbourne. With the Finals a mere few months away, we wish our students a wonderful experience in these destinations and trust that this will be a truly life changing event for each one of them.
