God is one, but he has innumerable forms. He is the creator of all and He himself takes the human form.” - Guru Nanak Dev
To mark the birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Devji, a special assembly was conducted by the students of grade 3. The assembly started with a morning prayer followed by thought of the day. Students were enlightened about the significance of Gurpurab and various rituals associated with this festival. A pious atmosphere was created by the shabad rendition. Presidians talked about how Guru Nanak Dev ji believed that God is omnipresent, shapeless, timeless and sightless. Students also threw some light on how Gurpurab is celebrated by the Sikh community through a presentation. The assembly was really special as every aspect of the festival was wonderfully depicted.
