"Peace is a daily, a weekly, a monthly process, gradually changing opinions, slowly eroding old barriers, quietly building new structures."
The International Day of Peace, sometimes unofficially known as World Peace Day, is a United Nations-sanctioned holiday observed annually on 21 September. It is dedicated to world peace, and specifically, the absence of war and violence, such as might be occasioned by a temporary ceasefire in a combat zone for humanitarian aid access. The 2020 theme for the International Day of Peace is "Shaping Peace Together." Keeping this thought in their minds , grade 3 Presidians has marked this day of celebration through various discussions on 'Peace.' Wherein, they discussed India and China's present scenario and shared their views. They discussed, "What steps could be taken to ensure peace or tranquility between the two countries and their people." They have also stimulated their knowledge and thought on Peace by making cards and posters. This activity helped them to feel connected to the world as a whole and also enhanced their creativity skills.
