“Public speaking is the art of diluting a two‐minute idea with a two‐hour vocabulary,” and it takes a lot more when it comes to an extempore. Extempore is the art of public speaking that is carried out without preparation or forethought. It tests one’s ability to think on the spot. Presidium regularly organizes various scholastic and co-scholastic activities to cater to the overall development of its students. To imbue the true spirit of learning and enhance effective communication skills, Class wise Extempore Competition was organized for IX–X classes. The students spoke eloquently on varied topics like Covid-19, leadership, books, animals, sports, etc. The event was a great learning experience for the students as they learned to express their views and opinions spontaneously. They were judged on criteria including content, confidence, coherency, oratory skills, and diction.
