“We must stand on our own feet and fight as best as we can for our rights. So carry on your agitation and organize your forces. Power and prestige will come to you through struggle.”
Dr. B. R. Ambedkar is known as The Father of the Indian Constitution due to his instrumental role in drafting the Indian Constitution, a significant building block of India as an independent nation. He was also the first Law Minister of Independent India. He was a social reformer to the core, who strived for equality among all castes of the Hindu society and for Indians as a whole. On the occasion of Ambedkar Jayanti, discussion regarding class norms was done, students were apprised about why class norms are important and were told about the way we make our class norms to maintain discipline, by not fighting with each other, helping each other etc in class, a similar way there are certain norms that a country forms and follows, those rules are called the constitution.
