For the predominant Sikh population of Punjab, Baisakhi is one the biggest festivals as it marks the foundation day of Khalsa Panth by the tenth Sikh Guru, Guru Gobind Singh. Sikh communities located anywhere in the world celebrate Baisakhi by participating in the special prayer meets and Baisakhi processions. Students of Grade 2 sang songs and performed bhangra on the joyous occasion of Baisakhi, the harvest festival of Punjab, as part of special activities conducted online.
