Farmers are the backbone of society. They are the ones who work around the clock and the year to ensure that people don't starve and die of hunger but they struggle for two square meals a day. Farmers' Day is celebrated every year on 23 December, on the birthday of the 5th Prime Minister of India, Choudhary Charan Singh, also a farmers' leader, who introduced many policies to improve the lives of the Indian farmers. To express our sincere tribute to Farmers, the students of Std II– B, with the help of their class teacher conducted a beautiful assembly. The assembly began with motivating words for farmers, followed by a beautiful dance presentation, short prayer, current news and thought of the day. Lastly, some thanking notes to farmers for the service they provide to our community. The assembly was a grand success with the support of Parents.
