Our young Presidians participated enthusiastically in the Holi celebration. They shared mythological stories related to ‘Holi Dahan’ and the significance of colour on ‘Dulhendi’. They had performed on various Brijwasi songs and enjoyed eating gujiya’s, playing with herbal gulal, and to make it more eco-friendly rather than using water balloons they used flower petals to throw on each other. All the girls were dressed up in the attire of Radha and boys as Krishna to mark this day in remembrance of Lord Krishna and Radha. Holi celebration assembly helped the students to recreate the day of love, happiness, the victory of good over evil. It also helped them to understand the Hindus festival and its importance.
