"Learning is not attained by chance. It must be sought for with ardor and attended to with diligence." Abigail Adams
Improved literacy can contribute to economic growth, reduce poverty, reduce crime, promote democracy, and enhance cultural diversity. Literacy is the cornerstone of development. We celebrate international literacy day on September 8th each year to encourage awareness towards literacy so that individual people, communities, and societies can know their social and human rights. The theme of International Literacy Day 2020 "Literacy teaching and learning in the covid -19 crisis and beyond," focusses especially on educators' role and changing COVID pedagogies. Hindi is incredibly essential in the historical development of the world's culture and well worth not just honouring, but studying. Students of grade 3 marked Literacy Day as they participated in the Hindi Reading Competition enthusiastically.
