"Our deep respect for the land and its harvest is the legacy of generations of farmers who put food on our tables, preserved our landscape, and inspired us with a powerful work ethic." -James H. Douglas Jr.
Farmers are the real heroes because, with their dedication and effort, they turn barren land into a land that produces food. To express our sincere tribute to Farmers, the students of Std III-A, with the help of their class teacher, conducted a beautiful assembly. The assembly began with the motivating words for farmers followed by a short prayer service, news, and thought of the day and role-plays as a farmer. The recent outbreak of Covid-19 is putting our families, communities, countries, economies under unprecedented pressure. The farmers are standing strong in the middle of this storm: they are not locking down their farms because their activity is so much more than a business! Students shared their thanking notes to farmers for the service they provide to our community. The assembly was a grand success with the support of Parents.
