Eid, which is Arabic for 'feast' or 'festival,' is celebrated by Muslims to mark significant events in the Islamic lunar calendar. In the 9th month, commonly known as Ramadan, Muslims far and wide observe fasting from dawn to dusk. We, at Presidium, believe in celebrating all the festivals, which helps in inculcating the importance of togetherness and oneness in them. To celebrate Eid, the children of Nursery and Prep organized a celebration time, where they dressed up in traditional attire. They even danced and shared about the festival of Eid. Parents also participated by preparing homemade sweets and sharing them virtually with each other. The students also made a mosque craft related to Eid, just to learn the importance of the place.
It was a good time of celebration where everyone learned the importance of giving and sharing with those who are less fortunate.
