Sir C.V. Raman was an Indian Physicist and was a recipient of the Nobel Prize in 1930 for his work in the field of light. To commemorate the invention of ‘The Raman Effect’, every year National Science Day is celebrated on 28th February. On this occasion, at Presidium a special assembly was conducted by grade 3D students. Students paid tribute to Dr. C.V.Raman by enlisting his great work, inventions and sharing his famous quotes. Students confidently presented their views on the importance of ‘Science in daily life’ and ‘science and technology. The young Presidians enthusiastically shared interesting science facts and recited poems on science and technology. They also remembered the other great scientists and their inventions.
