Guru or teacher has always been considered akin to a God in the Hindu culture. The term 'Guru' derives its meaning from the combination of two Sanskrit words- 'Gu' meaning Darkness, and ‘Ru’ meaning ‘A person who eliminates Darkness.’ The auspicious occasion of rendering gratitude to the mentors' GURU PURNIMA was celebrated virtually by Grade 3D students. The assembly began with the recitation of the Gayatri Mantra.
