Presidians got the opportunity to salute our nation's icon- a man who gave his entire life to make India a free country. Students of grade 3D presented famous quotes of Netaji. They shared a detailed note on Netaji's life, education, birth, death mystery, his work, and contribution to Indian Politics. To celebrate his birth anniversary, which is on 23rd January, students performed a dance on various patriotic songs. To bring the feel of this day, they all were dressed up as Netaji/Freedom fighters and used props/ background symbolizing patriotism.

World Hindi Day is celebrated every year on January 10. Hindi is not only the country’s most-spoken language, but it is the third most-spoken language in the world with 615 million speakers after English, Mandarin, according to the UN. To enlighten students of the importance of our official language and help them in understanding the rich lingual culture of the country, a special assembly was conducted. In the virtual assembly of grade 5E, the students were beautifully dressed in ethnic wear with their beaming faces. They gave beautiful performances like poems, sharings, and a song too. The aim of the assembly was to raise awareness about the Hindi language. Being one of the most popular languages in the world, there is a huge interest among students from across the globe to pursue a career in the Hindi language.

They have been working for years with UNESCO (United Nations Education, Scientific and cultural organization), Swiss Agency for development and cooperation (SDC), UN water, Agence De Léau, Geneva Water Hub, Global water partnership, Montréal international, and Blue Peace.

At Presidium, we remain committed to providing an activity-based integrated learning environment to our students and prepare them to keep pace with the changing times. An Intra Class Talent Hunt was planned to give a platform to students to represent their talents in the field of Music, Dance, and Theatre. The main intent of the show was to facilitate the students to showcase their hidden talent and get uniquely identified in the mass. They showcased their skills in classical and contemporary dance and also showed their expertise in singing and instrumental music like Tabla and Guitar. The Judges were completely enthralled by the young budding talents showcasing astonishing performances. They were astounded to see the amount of effort the students have put in their acts and were impressed by the quality of performances and their zeal to showcase themselves.

With the arrival of New Year comes new hopes, new resolutions, new reasons to celebrate life, and a new reason to set goals and work towards achieving them. To express these thoughts and new resolutions, the students of Std III-B, with their class teacher's help, conducted an amazing assembly. The assembly began with a prayer, news, and thought of the day. Students shared their new year resolutions like eating healthy food, staying active, being safe, trying new things, protecting themselves, lending a helping hand, expressing themselves, and many more. They performed in the celebration of welcoming the New Year. May this year provides everyone with enough reasons to be happy and uncountable days filled with joy and mirth! Our students of grade 6 performed the activity of making an Electric circuit in subject enrichment of science. They used various materials like wires, bulbs, and cells to make the circuit.
