Presidians showcased a comical play to witness the ill run kingdom by a foolish king, in which resides a farsighted guru and his disciple who cannot keep away from mundane temptations. Celebrating the true spirit of Guru Nanak Jayanti!

Students of class Prep B conducted a special assembly on Guru Nanak Jayanti, the most sacred festival of that celebrates the birth of Guru Nanak Dev Ji. This beautiful festival has its own significance and we at Presidium truly believe that our kids should gain experience and exposure of celebrating the festival with full zeal and enthusiasm.
Secularism is the beauty and glory of our constitution. This is what we want our kids to imbibe in their hearts, mind, and soul.
The colorful and bright attire of the kids were the cherries on the pie. Dhruv Sharma, the Jewel of the class was dressed as Guru Nanak Dev Ji, Panshul, Jivesh, Kevin, Pratyaksh Daksh Dahiya were dressed up as Panj Pyare. Other kids were also dressed up in Punjabi attire, looking adorable.
They had a procession led by Guru Nanak Ji and Panj Pyare carrying Sikh flag known as Nishan sahib. Guru Nanak Dev Ji's birthday would never be complete without Kara Prasad.
It was indeed a pleasure for all to see tender hearts and innocent faces glowing with brightness while chanting "EK OMKAR". This made everybody's heart glow with the true spirit of this festival.

Celebrating the true spirit of Childhood!

Presidium Gurgaon celebrated Children’s Day with great joy and jubilation. A special assembly was presented by the students to mark the occasion. Mrs. Reena Sharma greeted all the children on the occasion and urged them to emulate the qualities of Chacha Nehru and all that he stood for. Our Honorable Chairperson Mrs. Sudha Gupta visited the branch and wished the children personally. Teachers also presented dance performances and a short drama with the medley. The continuous applause after each performance exhibited amazing contribution of the children. All the teachers wished the children and blessed them for a bright future. Chocolates were also distributed to all the children to mark the celebrations. The Programme was successfully conducted and was concluded by the encouraging words of our VP Alka Singh.

Celebrating the festival of Lights at Presidium, Gurgaon!

Diwali is one of the most significant and famous festivals celebrated throughout India every year as well as outside the country. People celebrate Diwali enthusiastically to commemorate the returning of Lord Rama to his kingdom, Ayodhya, after 14 years of exile on defeating Ravana.
Students of Grade 3G celebrated and presented an assembly on Diwali. The children were all dressed in traditional outfits. The assembly started with "Gayatri Mantra". They shared their views about the importance of the festival in our lives and the teachings that are the foundation of our cultural heritage and religious beliefs. Furthermore, they tapped their feet on a melodious song. The kids also enacted a few scenes of the Ramayana.
Our respected Alka Ma'am shared a few words on pollution - free Diwali and the steps we can take to keep our environment clean. Our Cultural Head Meenakshi Ma'am wished everyone a very Happy and prosperous Diwali. The assembly concluded with the chants of the National Anthem.
With gleam of Diyas and the Echo of the Chants, May your life is filled with happiness and contentment.

MONIYA-A THEATRICAL TRIBUTE TO THE MAHATMA BY PRESIDAINS

Presidians paid a tribute to the father of the nation, Mahatma Gandhi, through a poignant theatrical presentation called “Moniya-the child that Mahatma Gandhi was”. The presentation was organised by Presidium Gurgaon at the Shri Ram Centre on 26th July. The extraordinary times and experiences of the Mahatma’s childhood were unfolded on stage through exceptional performances. The presentation exhibited the remarkable journey of the anti-war activist from his childhood to his pre-eminent leadership that led India to its freedom.
Parents and teachers appreciated and applauded the soulful presentation with full cheer. The audience were indeed enamoured by the astounding performance and were left speechless while the young talented performers unfolded their magic on stage. The performance was a soul-stirring experience for Presidians. They discovered that self-belief, truth, integrity, courage, and respect for others are the true virtues that shape a great leader. The Investiture Ceremony, 2016, witnessed young Presidians being honoured with prestigious positions in the school’s Student Council by the Hon’ble Chairperson, Mrs. Sudha Gupta and the Presidium family. She congratulated the students, teachers and the parents on the joyous occasion and extended warm wishes to the students for a bright year ahead.
At the ceremony, some of the coveted titles bestowed upon the students were - School Head Girl, Head Boy, Cultural Head, Sports Head, President Social Cause, Club Presidents and their respective councils. At the event, Junior School Council was also felicitated, thus giving learning and leadership opportunities at an even younger age. Presidians received the new roles and responsibilities with grace and dignity. The charismatic oath instilled confidence on their intention and capabilities.
